I disappeared from Oppo for most of 2019, only coming back when I thought it was about to close, and still being very busy means I don’t have much free time. Now more than ever, with the GS and Fiero both needing attention. But, here’s some stuff I photographed over the course of this year.
Apex Blue RDX A-Spec
Saw this GS350 at an auto show
Me and aperson after Japanese Classics
GS with JDM cloth interior. Unless these seats were made in tan as well, I won’t be swapping them in.
Two Beats at Japanese Classics. I sat in the yellow one.
1st gen Aristo. Japanese Classics again. This was where my desire for a GS intensified.
I also like X chassis, like these JZX90s (left Cresta, right Mark II) seen here, but they’re quite a bit more expensive than an S chassis (GS/Aristo/Crown) because of the drift tax.
I hope that’s not a real Toyota Team Europe grille that this owner put a Vertex Edition badge on for some reason.
I just thought this plate was funny. I didn’t even notice the wrong badge until later.
One of two NSXs the Acura dealer had for sale this year. This was a 2017, and sold for $150,000.
Toyota Sera, Cars & Coffee Richmond.
CTRs aren’t rare here. At all.
Fun fact: I’ve seen more new NSXs in person than I have old ones.
This Supra has the most brutal anti-lag I’ve ever heard.
Lava Orange 2019 NSX
Sort of an inspiration for what I’m going for with my GS: turbo monster under the hood, unremarkable body. Not going to put drag radials on though.
It’s a real one, I assure you.
All 3 parking lot NSX shots are from the same day.
This Del Sol is a USDM model with a Trans-Top swap. The owner said it was very difficult to do. I can imagine.
My first photo of the Fiero
The second NSX the Acura dealer had. It was there on my last two visits, along with a red one that belonged to a customer.
The TL’s only issue this year was a dead battery. It didn’t even fully die, just got close.
I flung the TL around the Blue Ridge Parkway for a bit one day.
I went to IMSA at VIR this year. Honestly was a fun time.
The LC in the background is the only one I’ve seen in a color other than red.
Porsche GT3 Cup cars
Not the first Diablo I’ve seen, although maybe the first real one. No idea whose it is.
Ferrari 812
DJR Penske Mustang Supercar on display
MSR NSX GT3 Evo driven by Katherine Legge and Alice Powell. Katherine crashed hard after a mechanical failure.
I still have the Prelude. I just don’t drive it much. Mainly for dog transportation.
And finally, the GS, now that it’s registered.

I agree.
